Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service and beverage recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and sanitation practices to meet food safety standards. Manage cash handling duties, including processing cash transactions and balancing registers at shift end. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting overall café operations and ensuring timely service. Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to uphold health standards. Requirements Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to cleaning and food prep.
