Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including smoothies, coffee drinks, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Handle retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing cash and card payments efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment to uphold food safety standards. Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service to foster a welcoming atmosphere. Restock supplies, ingredients, and beverages as needed to ensure smooth daily operations. Follow food handling procedures and safety guidelines during food preparation and serving to ensure compliance with health regulations. Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as taking orders, preparing drinks, and maintaining a clean environment. Requirements Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred. Legally able to work within the State and Federal guidelines. Minimum Age 16 or older. Familiarity with POS systems for processing sales transactions accurately. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests of all ages. Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift. Bending, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice or taking out trash. Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers. Safely navigate in a fast-paced cafe environment. Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions.
