Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as CLOVER to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, give correct change, and manage daily cash handling procedures. Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling food items or snacks when required. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality standards. Help to maintain accurate inventory by restocking and communicating outages daily as needed Experience Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Familiarity with POS systems like CLOVER or Square is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for retail math calculations and cash handling accuracy. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Experience in beverage service or café environments is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidates. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
