Handle retail sales transactions with precision, including cash handling, processing credit/debit card payments, and balancing cash registers at shift end. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning counters, equipment, and seating areas in accordance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed while adhering to food handling safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience for every guest. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers promptly without compromising quality or service standards. Requirements Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and balancing registers accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as cleaning and food prep comfortably. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours effectively.
