Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate POS systems such as Clover POS to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, beverage stations, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Manage cash handling procedures, including processing cash transactions and giving correct change. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting overall café operations. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling practices to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred but not required Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Experience in beverage service, drink preparation, or café environments is desirable. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
