Overview Join our dynamic team as a Barista, working early mornings from 5am to 12pm, Monday through Saturday. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages with precision and care, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for retail sales transactions. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas. Process cash transactions accurately while managing cash handling responsibilities with integrity. Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance. Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support overall café operations. Experience Prior barista experience or food service background is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper beverage preparation techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle busy mornings smoothly while maintaining quality standards. Experience in retail sales transactions and cash handling within the food industry is a plus.
