The Breakfast Hostperson provides prompt, friendly, and courteous service while maintaining a clean, welcoming, and guest-ready breakfast area. This position helps ensure every guest enjoys a positive breakfast experience. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain the breakfast/dining area and supplies in a guest-ready condition. Provide friendly, professional service and assist guests with food, beverage, and hotel-related questions. Maintain knowledge of menu items, beverage selections, hotel services, and brand standards. Monitor food and supplies and assist with food preparation and storage as needed. Clean and restock the breakfast area at the end of each shift. Maintain required safety, sanitation, security, and emergency procedures. Complete required brand documentation. Resolve guest concerns professionally and work effectively as part of the hotel team. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications Previous food and beverage experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Food Handling certification preferred. Friendly, service-focused, dependable, and able to multitask. Strong communication and guest service skills. Must meet company security clearance requirements. Physical & Scheduling Requirements Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods, bend, stretch, and reach. Must be able to push/pull up to 60 lbs. and lift/carry up to 30 lbs. unassisted. This is an on-site hotel position. Must have scheduling flexibility, including weekends and holidays.
