Cashier and Barista

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages while providing exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and ensuring their experience is enjoyable and memorable. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are fresh and presented beautifully. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and retail math for processing payments. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, food items, and supplies; assist in restocking as necessary. Adhere to food handling safety regulations to ensure the health and safety of all customers. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Experience Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is preferred but not required; we welcome enthusiastic candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and equipment is a plus. Strong sales skills to promote menu items effectively while enhancing customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
