Our clientile will be mostly gay men, but everyone is welcomed but again part of the gay community, and if you don't feel comfortable in a position like this or can't respect our guests.... please do not apply Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service to enhance their dining and café experience Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages using barista techniques Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash and card payments seamlessly Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, counters, and food prep stations in accordance with food safety standards Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks to support kitchen staff and ensure timely service Restock supplies, manage beverage stations, and keep the workspace organized for efficient operations Support food industry standards by adhering to proper food safety protocols and ensuring quality control throughout service Skills Proven experience in food service environments with barista or café experience preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cash handling Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Knowledge of non-alcoholic beverage preparation, drink service, and café operations Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours Commitment to cleanliness, food safety practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience in retail sales transactions combined with effective communication skills Join us if you're passionate about creating welcoming atmospheres, delivering top-notch beverages and service, and thriving in a lively team environment!
