In this dynamic role, you'll craft delicious non-alcoholic beverages, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure the café operates smoothly and efficiently. Whether you're preparing drinks, handling retail transactions, or maintaining food safety standards, your positive attitude will shine through in everything you do. Duties Prepare a variety of specialty coffee and non-coffee beverages with precision and care, ensuring high quality and consistency. Engage with customers warmly, taking their orders accurately and providing friendly, attentive service. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently. Handle cash and processing cash transactions with accuracy, maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation zones, beverage stations, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety standards. Restock supplies regularly to ensure all ingredients and materials are available for smooth operations. Follow food handling protocols and safety guidelines to uphold food industry standards at all times. Requirements Previous barista or café experience is preferred; familiarity with beverage service and drink preparation is a plus. Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction processing. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during shifts. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours. Previous experience in food service or retail sales transactions will be advantageous.
