Barista/front counter responsibilities include giving great customer service including making food and drink recommendations and upselling when appropriate, promoting a pleasant, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere for our customers, and being knowledgeable about what we offer. Ultimately, you will be integral in providing a great service experience for our customers. Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter
• Take orders and pay special attention to details such as special requests or adjustments or allergy concerns
• Receive and process payments
• Convey food orders back to the kitchen in a timely fashion
• Prepare beverages quickly and correctly
• Gather and distribute any case items that have been ordered
• Prepare bags for to-go orders
• Complete checklists associated with your shift
• Wash dishes
• Light cleaning
• Maintain a clean and orderly work space
• Comply with health and safety regulations at all times Required Qualifications
• Basic math skills
• Able to work with a sense of urgency
• Excellent customer service skills
• Responsible and dependable
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Able to handle multiple tasks at once and stay focused and organized
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to work on feet for up to 8-hour shifts Preferred Qualifications
• Any food industry experience
• Knowledge of and experience with coffee and espresso equipment
• Is ServSafe certified
