Summary of Position:
We are looking for a motivated and creative Barista to join our team at Corporate Dining Concepts.Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain knowledge of all menu options to answer customer questions Greet customers as they enter the Café Prepare and serve variety of food and drinks for our clients to enjoy in the café or take away Safely and effectively use, operate, and read all necessary tools and equipment, including cash registers and coffee makers Assist in opening and closing duties for the Café Prepare food and catering orders as needed Maintain menu item counts and communicate to Management and service staff when quantities fall below restaurant specific minimum quantity Clear any dishes and cutlery from tables as well as sanitize tables Clean café equipment such as coffee grinders and espresso machines Wash and sanitize dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils Communicate any food delays or report any issues with equipment to your manager or shift lead Provide positive customer service and handle customer complaints when needed Maintain a safe and clean working environment by using proper food handling skills and safety guidelines Accurately account for all items coming out of the station Understand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions. Adhere to clients wants and needs and understand they are our top priority Help with other tasks as needed to assist the team and create a smooth serviceJob Requirements/ Qualifications:
Ability to read, write and understand Instructions Have reliable transportation to and from the work location Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide easily and quickly PossessEXCELLENT
