(Purpose of the Position): We are seeking dependable and friendly student employees to assist with the daily operations of The Cage. This position is ideal for someone seeking flexibility, and a fast-paced work environment

Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and quality standards Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient customer service Serve pastries and other grab-and-go items Restock beverages, food items, cups, lids, and other café supplies Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming environment Clean and sanitize equipment, counters, tables, and other work areas throughout the shift Follow all food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and other workplace safety Assist with opening, closing, and other daily operations Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service Perform other related job duties as assigned
Qualifications:
(Education/Experience/Skills) Reliable and punctual Ability to follow recipes, procedures and food safety standards Friendly and a professional attitude Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Previous customer service or food service experience is helpful but not required
Physical and Environmental Factors:
This position requires crouching, stooping, twisting/pivoting, reaching overhead, grasping/handling, pushing/pulling, lifting and carrying objects up to 20 lbs., repetitive motions, and operating equipment or machinery to perform the essential functions. It also requires exposure to loud noise and cramped quarters and rare exposure to respiratory factors, chemicals, wet or humid conditions indoors, and proximity hazards to perform the essential functions. Protective equipment is required to perform some essential functions.
