Diamond Dust is a bakery and coffee shop on Sunrise Drive, right next to Gustavus. We serve espresso and specialty drinks, fresh baked goods, and sandwiches and salads for lunch. We're a small crew under new local ownership, and we're looking for a barista to join us. What you'll do Make espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and specialty sodas Take orders and run the register Help customers choose from the bakery case Keep the counter, espresso bar, and dining room clean and stocked What matters most to us You show up for your shifts, on time You let us know early when something comes up, and you speak up when we're running low or something seems off You keep busy, even when it's quiet You're friendly with customers We'll teach you the drinks and the register. Food service experience helps but isn't required. A plus, but not required Experience with kitchen prep or baking. When things get busy in the kitchen, you may be asked to help with sandwich and salad prep or baking. Shifts We typically run two shifts: (currently M-F but Saturday in the future)

Morning:

6:15 am - noon

Afternoon:

11 am - 330 pm (soon to be 5pm) We can be flexible on some days. Let us know what works for you.
