Hiring Department Thompson Center for Autism & Neurodevelopment Job Description We are seeking friendly, reliable Cafe Staff to join our team. Our cafe is part of an initiative to create inclusive employment opportunities and provide supportive, hands-on job training for individuals entering the workforce, including those with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate is customer focused, works well in a fast paced environment, and takes pride in providing high quality food, beverages, and service. Cafe Staff are responsible for creating a welcoming experience for every guest while maintaining cleanliness, efficiency, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Greet customers and take food and beverage orders accurately Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and other beverages Prepare simple food items following cafe recipes and standards Operate the point of sale system and handle transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness of the cafe, including counters, equipment, dining area, and restrooms Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties Follow health, safety, and food handling regulations Address customer questions, requests, or concerns professionally Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations Shift Part-time 10

m. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and 6 months of work experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
