Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently. Manage retail sales transactions with cash handling, processing cash, credit cards, and other payment methods seamlessly. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food prep zones to meet food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Assist in food handling and basic food preparation tasks to support café operations. Support food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers. Experience Previous barista experience or background in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods. Retail sales experience that demonstrates ability to upsell products and manage transactions efficiently.
