Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining cash handling accuracy Maintain cleanliness of the front-of-house area, including counters, tables, and equipment, following food safety standards Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks to ensure quality and safety standards are met Manage beverage service orders promptly to ensure quick turnaround times and customer satisfaction Support retail sales by recommending products and upselling when appropriate Follow proper food safety procedures during drink preparation and food handling to ensure compliance with health regulations Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations during busy periods Requirements Previous experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; café experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales transactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours Experience with beverage preparation, including coffee-making skills as a barista or similar role is desirable Join us in creating delightful experiences for every guest!
