Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages with precision, including tea, boba and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Toast and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide friendly, attentive customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions with accuracy, process payments using POS systems, and give correct change. Restock supplies regularly to ensure the café is fully equipped for busy periods. Follow food safety protocols during food preparation and beverage service to ensure a safe environment for all guests. Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting overall café operations with a positive attitude. Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast or Micros POS is advantageous. Experience in retail sales transactions, cash handling, and cashiering is beneficial. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is important for maintaining hygiene standards. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and warmly with diverse guests. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while managing time effectively.
