Responsibilities Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with precision. Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee drinks, teas, smoothies, and specialty drinks while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any questions or special requests professionally. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly sanitizing work surfaces, cleaning equipment, and ensuring food safety standards are met throughout your shift. Manage closing procedures by balancing cash drawers, reconciling sales reports, restocking supplies, and securing the premises for overnight safety. Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light food items while adhering to proper food handling protocols. Support team members during busy periods by assisting with serving beverages or food items to ensure a seamless guest experience. Experience Prior experience working in food service or café environments is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation and beverage service is a plus. Demonstrated ability to process cash transactions accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Basic math skills for handling cash register operations and balancing tills at shift end. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety. Experience in retail sales transactions combined with time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours. Previous barista experience or beverage service expertise will help you excel in crafting quality drinks while maintaining speed and accuracy.
