Responsibilities Supervise daily café activities, ensuring smooth operation of beverage preparation, food handling, and retail sales transactions Lead and motivate a team of baristas by providing coaching, training on food safety, POS systems (including Aloha POS and Micros POS), and customer service excellence Oversee the preparation of non-alcoholic beverages with precision and consistency, maintaining quality standards at all times Manage cash handling procedures, processing cash transactions accurately using POS systems, and balancing registers at shift end Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across the café area, including food prep surfaces, equipment, and customer seating zones Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices to guarantee a safe environment for staff and customers Support sales goals by engaging customers in friendly service, upselling beverages or food items, and creating a welcoming atmosphere Experience Proven experience in food service or café environments with a strong background in beverage preparation and serving Prior barista experience with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and drink service best practices Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cash handling Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage time effectively and oversee team performance Strong understanding of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and cleaning protocols Excellent customer service skills with an energetic approach to engaging guests and resolving issues promptly Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash registers confidently Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm for coffee culture combines with leadership to create memorable experiences.
