Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and quality standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide personalized beverage service to enhance the customer experience Handle cash register operations including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and ensuring adherence to food safety standards Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service standards Experience Prior experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn Demonstrated ability in retail sales transactions with basic math skills for cash handling and change calculation Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous but training will be provided Experience in beverage preparation or barista roles is a plus; knowledge of coffee brewing techniques is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and create a welcoming atmosphere Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail in food safety and cleanliness standards Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional coffee experiences!
