Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages with skill and consistency, including coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales efficiently and accurately. Handle retail sales transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and processing payments swiftly. Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries professionally. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Assist in food preparation and beverage service to ensure timely delivery of orders. Support food industry standards by practicing proper food safety procedures and food handling techniques. Skills Proven experience as a barista with knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service techniques. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in food service or café environments is preferred; knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
