Job Description
Front Porch Café is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Coffee Roaster to join our roasting team. This is a part-time, position that is perfect for someone looking for flexible supplemental income and who enjoys hands-on work. No roasting experience? That's okay. We are willing to train the right person who is reliable, eager to learn, and takes pride in producing a consistent, high-quality product. Responsibilities Roast coffee according to Front Porch Café standards and roast profiles Package, label, and organize roasted coffee Prepare orders for our café locations, wholesale customers, and online orders Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe roasting environment Assist with inventory, weighing, and organizing green coffee Follow quality control procedures to ensure consistency Help with other roasting-related tasks as needed Qualifications Reliable with excellent attendance Detail-oriented and able to follow established processes Able to work independently once trained Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds Able to stand for extended periods Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team Flexible schedule Schedule Approximately 8-15 hours per week (hours may vary based on production needs) Flexible schedule What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys behind-the-scenes work, values consistency and quality, and takes pride in helping create the coffee our customers enjoy every day.
