Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service with a positive, energetic attitude Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items following established recipes and standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS accurately for order processing and cash handling Manage cash register operations, including cash handling, credit card transactions, and balancing cash drawers at shift end Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Ensure food safety standards are consistently followed during food handling and preparation Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness Engage in upselling techniques to increase sales and promote special menu items Qualifications Prior experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse customers Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is desirable Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Previous experience in retail math or cashiering roles will be advantageous Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering top-notch service while honing your skills in the vibrant world of café culture!
