In this energetic role, you'll craft a variety of beverages, handle retail transactions with precision, and ensure our café maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety. Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and smoothies, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS system to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas in compliance with food safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Assist in food handling and preparation tasks to support food safety protocols and ensure timely service. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus. Strong background in retail sales transactions, cashiering, and cash handling ensures accuracy in processing payments. Knowledge of POS systems enhances efficiency during busy hours. Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service with positive communication skills. Basic math skills are essential for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations accurately. Experience with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is required to maintain health standards. Proven time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
