Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions, processing cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and dining spaces in accordance with food safety standards. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately, answering questions about menu items, and providing excellent customer service. Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling beverages, managing food handling procedures, and maintaining quality standards. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards. Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling and storage practices, to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. Experience Previous barista experience or café experience is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus. Strong background in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or food service roles that involve POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the food industry. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for processing payments and managing register operations confidently. Experience in beverage service or drink service roles that emphasize customer engagement and quick turnaround times.
