Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, beverage stations, equipment sanitation, and general tidiness to uphold food safety standards. Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments, and give correct change using basic math skills. Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service standards. Experience Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role is preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Demonstrated ability to operate POS systems such as Toast & Micros POS confidently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse guests. Knowledge of beverage service techniques and non-alcoholic drink preparation methods. Basic math proficiency for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing.
