Job Description Incontro Caffe is seeking a friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Coffee Shop Team Member to support daily café operations. This role involves welcoming customers, taking orders, assisting with beverage and food service, handling routine transactions, and keeping the café clean and organized. The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive, and comfortable working with customers and coworkers in a busy café environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service. Take customer orders accurately and assist with general menu questions. Prepare and serve coffee, tea, beverages, and other café items as needed. Operate the POS system and process customer payments accurately. Communicate orders and special requests clearly with café team members. Organize completed orders for dine-in, pickup, or takeout service. Keep counters, service stations, tables, and customer areas clean and presentable. Replenish cups, lids, napkins, utensils, ingredients, and other café supplies. Assist coworkers with daily service tasks during busy periods. Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace procedures. Support opening, closing, and other routine café duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous café, coffee shop, restaurant, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful. Friendly, respectful, and professional approach to customers. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Comfortable working in a fast-paced café environment. Good attention to order accuracy, cleanliness, and customer service. Able to learn POS systems, beverage preparation, and café procedures. Willingness to follow company standards and work cooperatively with the team.
