Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and care Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Greet customers warmly, take their orders efficiently, and serve beverages with a focus on quality and presentation Handle cash register operations by processing cash, credit card payments, and giving correct change Maintain cleanliness of the café area by cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food handling stations regularly Ensure food safety standards are met during food preparation and beverage service Assist in food handling and basic food preparation tasks to support overall café operations Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards Skills Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Ability to handle food safely, follow proper food handling procedures, and maintain cleanliness standards Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing sales totals Effective time management to prioritize tasks during peak hours without compromising quality or service speed Previous retail sales or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Join us in creating a lively atmosphere where great coffee meets exceptional service!
