Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Engage with customers to take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide friendly, personalized service. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining accurate cash handling records. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food safety practices and beverage service setup. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and enthusiastically. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety procedures and proper food handling techniques. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
