Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other popular drinks, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and answering questions about menu items. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, beverage stations, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments, give correct change, and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts. Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including assembling food items or snacks in accordance with safety guidelines. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining high-quality standards. Requirements Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and excellent communication abilities. Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations for transactions and register balancing. Experience in retail sales transactions, food handling, and beverage service is beneficial. Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours. Commitment to food safety standards and proper food preparation techniques. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as cleaning and stocking supplies.
