As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers while maintaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring high standards of food safety and cleanliness, and providing outstanding customer service. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Operate the Aloha POS system for order taking and cash handling efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations while handling food products. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and reporting shortages as needed. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication. Experience Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is an asset. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are necessary. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers positively.
