Job Description
Job Summary As a team member at Kung Fu Tea at Mandalay Bay Hotel, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing high-quality bubble tea beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will work as part of a team to ensure the store runs smoothly, efficiently, and in line with Kung Fu Tea's brand and quality standards. Responsibilities Prepare and serve bubble tea, slushes, and other beverages according to brand standards. Brew tea and cook tapioca pearls (Boba). Maintain cleanliness and organization of the drink preparation area, Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage cash handling procedures, including accurate cash register operations and basic math calculations for transactions. Restock ingredients and supplies as needed. Stay informed about menu items, promotions, and new products to effectively communicate with customers. Qualifications Previous barista experience or a strong background in the food service industry is plus, but not required. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is essential. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. A positive attitude with excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively. Able to stand long periods (5~6 hour shifts) and lift up to 30lbs Nevada food handler safety training card is required. Able to work on weekday mornings/nights
