We are looking for someone who will thrive in a fast-paced environment, provide excellent customer service, and overall ensure that the front-of-house runs smoothly. You must also facilitate a smooth line of communication between the front of house and the kitchen. Our ideal candidate has several years of barista experience, preferably with some time spent in a lead role. Barista Lead Duties and Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations in the FOH Ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are followed and completed on a timely basis. Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times. Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures. Ensure customer satisfaction by quickly fixing any issues Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service, and complete disciplinary write-ups. Facilitate quick and efficient communication between front and back-of-house (BOH) Arrange for equipment maintenance and repairs, and coordinate a variety of services, such as waste removal and pest control. Perform some food preparation or service tasks, such as cooking, clearing tables, and serving food and drinks when necessary Barista Lead Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED certificate Several years of barista experience Supervisory experience Strong leadership and management skills Communication abilities
