Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and flair. Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing excellent service to enhance their visit. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales efficiently and accurately. Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining cash handling accuracy. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, and dining spaces to uphold food safety standards. Restock supplies as needed, including coffee beans, cups, utensils, and food items to ensure smooth operations. Follow proper food handling procedures and adhere to food safety regulations at all times. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without sacrificing quality or service standards. Experience Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with beverage service techniques and non-alcoholic drink preparation is highly valued. Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances your ability to process sales seamlessly. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions accurately, and managing sales totals. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is a plus.
