Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and excellence in every cup Oversee daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and processing sales using POS systems such as Pecan POS or Micros POS Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service, addressing guest needs promptly and professionally Manage retail sales transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures and processing cash transactions efficiently Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to food handling protocols and cleaning schedules Supervise team members, assign tasks, support training efforts, and ensure smooth workflow during busy hours Monitor inventory levels of supplies and beverages, placing orders as needed to keep stock replenished Requirements Proven experience as a barista with a strong background in beverage preparation and food service experience Prior management or supervisory experience in a café or retail environment is highly desirable Proficiency with POS systems such as Pecan POS or Micros POS; familiarity with retail sales transactions and cashiering procedures Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and inventory management Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently Plus TIPS Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for coffee meets leadership excellence!
