Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately. Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with attention to detail and adherence to cash handling procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and responding promptly to inquiries or special requests. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food handling surfaces in compliance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light food items while following proper food safety protocols. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety. Requirements Previous experience in food service or café environments ; barista experience is a plus, but not required Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing sales accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts confidently and professionally.
