We take pride in our more traditional coffee centered menu, focusing on execution and presentation to make excellent drinks, pastries and small bites. As roasters we flaunt the exquisite coffees we source and roast and highlight them instead of burying them in flavors and sweetness. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate the POS system to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions about menu items, and promote our offerings. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment, adhering to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments, and give correct change while managing cash handling responsibilities. Assist in food handling and beverage service to ensure all products meet safety and quality standards. Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and ensuring smooth operations. Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred; familiarity with café environments is a plus. Proficiency in using POS systems such as Square for sales processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light equipment or supplies, and maintain a clean workspace throughout the shift. 18+ years old Must be available weekends.
