$18/hour
Overview:
The Copper Mug Grille at Landoll's Mohican Castle is seeking a dependable, guest-focused Assistant Manager to help lead our front-of-house operations. This role supports the Restaurant Manager in ensuring exceptional dining experiences in a high-volume, fast-paced environment known for its scenic views and upscale comfort food.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations and staff performance Lead by example in delivering excellent guest service Support with hiring, training, and scheduling front-of-house staff Maintain cleanliness, safety, and adherence to health regulations Communicate effectively with the kitchen, event teams, and Castle leadership Help coordinate private events, group dining, and seasonal promotions Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care
Schedule Requirements:
Required to work most holiday weekends , including but not limited to: Mother's Day Easter Thanksgiving Required to work most weekends during our annual Christmas event season (the day after Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve ) The property is closed on Christmas Day Additional weekend shifts may be scheduled as needed
Qualifications:
Prior restaurant or hospitality management experience strongly preferred Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking abilities Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure Reliable transportation and flexible availability Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
