Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care. Operate POS systems and process sales transactions efficiently and accurately. Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining excellent cashiering standards. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas to ensure food safety standards are met. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and responding promptly to their needs. Assist in food preparation tasks when necessary, ensuring all food safety guidelines are followed. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly without sacrificing quality or hospitality. Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; a passion for coffee and customer service is essential. Familiarity with POS systems. Strong skills in cash handling, math, and processing cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of beverage service techniques and drink preparation methods. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances the guest experience. Commitment to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Basic time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours effectively.
