Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant café team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage preparation. The position involves preparing beverages, serving customers, and maintaining a clean and welcoming café atmosphere. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages with precision and consistency Operate POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing and cash handling Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing exceptional customer service Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food safety standards and food handling procedures Assist in food preparation and serving light food items as needed Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service Restock supplies and ensure the café remains organized and inviting Follow food safety guidelines and health regulations at all times Skills Previous Barista experience or background in food service or the food industry preferred Proficiency with POS system Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing Knowledge of food safety , food handling , and proper food preparation techniques Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Experience with serving , cashiering , and managing sales transactions Join our team to deliver memorable café experiences through exceptional service, quality beverages, and a welcoming atmosphere.
