Summary of Position:

Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional experience to all our guests. Each team member's primary objective is to make our guest's experience memorable & boba-tastic!

Duties & Responsibilities:

Welcome and greet guests - Required Greeting "Hi, welcome to Boba Tea Company" Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you're there to personally take care of them. Make recommendations you genuinely feel our guests will enjoy. Answer questions about our drinks, the history of boba and other BTC's functions and services. Take beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system which relays orders to the order module and repeats customer's order to confirm that order was entered correctly. Activates customer's suckbucks card Accept payment, process credit card charges of make change - if applicable. Make the customers drink correctly and with precision Give guests their drink, thank them and invite them to return. Perform side work at start and end of each shift (cleaning, restocking, making teas and bobas) as required by service station assignment. Maintain clean work environment inside and outside. Monitor and observe guests' experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with their boba tea drinks. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests. Be ready and willing to assist fellow team member as situations arise. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of Boba Tea Company as directed by the manager, assistant manager or team leader.

Qualifications:

Be at-least 16 years of age. Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of BTC's trading area. Must have a basic knowledge of customer service procedures and functions. Possess basic math skills and can handle money and operate a point-of-sale system Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours). Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver any chair/table or inventory weighing up to 50 pounds. Be able to work under pressure in some cases. Ability to obtain food handler's card (we provide if you do not possess one)
