In this role, you will prepare and serve coffee and other beverages, greet and assist customers, maintain a clean and organized café, and help ensure that every guest receives excellent service. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, learns quickly, pays attention to detail, and can stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment. Previous barista or customer-service experience is welcome, but we are also happy to consider candidates who are motivated to learn and grow with us. Duties:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop area
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards in food preparation and handling
• Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of retail math and basic math skills for cash handling
• Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations in the food industry
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
