Maintain cleanliness of the café area by cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas regularly to uphold food safety standards. Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments, and give accurate change while balancing cash drawers at shift end. Assist in food handling and preparation tasks as needed, following proper food safety and hygiene protocols. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or customer satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with beverage preparation is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems; basic math skills are essential for cash handling. Strong customer service skills with an energetic attitude; ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for all patrons. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in food preparation and cleaning routines. Must be able to lift 45lbs. Food service experience, including processing cash transactions and operating cash registers, is advantageous.
