$8.00 per hour + tips

$10.00 - $11.00 per hour ($8.00 base + average $2.00-$3.00/hr in tips)

Monday-Thursday Full Job Description About ViVi Bubble Tea:
At ViVi Bubble Tea, we are dedicated to serving high-quality, handcrafted bubble tea and delicious snacks in a fun, high-energy environment. We take pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming shop for our community. We are looking for energetic, hardworking Cashier / Baristas to join our team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, like staying active, and take pride in great customer service and cleanliness, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities Order & Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders on the POS register, answer menu questions, and handle cash/card payments. Drink Preparation Rotation (When Busy): Label cups, add toppings, pour drinks from shakers/blenders, and assist shift leads with drink assembly during rush periods. Proactive Store Maintenance (When Slow): Stay active during downtime by restocking supplies (powders, syrups, cups, straws, ice, macarons) and maintaining store cleanliness (wiping tables, counters, and bathrooms).
Dish & Equipment Care:
Assist with quick dishwashing and keeping drink preparation stations fully stocked and sanitized.
Closing & Deep Cleaning Duties:
Perform daily deep cleaning routines (wiping machines, clearing syrup pumps, sanitizing countertops, emptying trash, and sweeping/mopping).
Job Qualifications & Requirements Age Requirement:
Must be at least 16 years old.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, possess a valid Social Security Number (SSN), and have an active bank account for direct deposit setup.
Food Handler Certificate:
Must possess or complete a Texas Food Handler certification prior to starting training.
Availability:
Weekend availability is required.
Work Ethic:
Strong work ethic with a preference for staying busy and productive during downtime (cleaning/restocking) rather than sitting on personal phones.
Communication:
Personal cell phone use is strictly limited to urgent family communications during shifts.
Hiring & Training Process Interview:
In-person interview with management.
Paid Evaluation Training:
All new hires undergo a 2-day paid evaluation training period .
Evaluation Criteria:
Final hiring decisions and full onboarding are offered based on: Cash register accuracy and customer service delivery. Ability to multitask and maintain speed during high-volume rushes. Initiative to learn, restock, and keep the shop clean. Positive attitude toward feedback and willingness to add value to the team.
Pay:
$8.00 - $10.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 per week
