As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee shop, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional customer service. You will prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea & smoothies while ensuring that every drink meets our standards of quality. Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including the coffee station and dining area. Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting with their orders. Educate customers about different coffee blends, brewing methods, health benefits of smoothies, and our various pro we offer Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment. Experience Previous experience in coffee and smoothies is a must Familiarity with retail math and basic math skills for accurate cash handling is essential. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment is a plus. Strong sales skills to promote menu items effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. •The ideal candidate would be available to work various shifts Monday-Friday anywhere from 5am-8pm. Possibly for some weekend hours if the schedule allows on occasion.
