Barista Verbena Coffee aims to be the best specialty coffee shop in the West Houston area. By using a variety of local roasters and food vendors, we want to showcase the incredible Houston food and coffee scene in an environment people love. We're looking for a passionate barista and customer service professional who excel at creating a welcoming, fun environment for customers and co-workers. Success in the position as barista requires excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in coffee. Barista experience is a plus, but not a must. This is a part time position with a workload of around 15 hours per week. Candidate must have open Saturday and Sunday availability.

Tasks include:

• Provide a welcoming, fun environment for customers and co-workers
• Promote an excellent experience for all customers, every time
• Prepare consistent, high quality coffee and espresso drinks
• Operate cash register
• Opening and closing duties such as sweeping, mopping and washing dishes Pay starts at $9/h + tips. Tips are usually around $6
• 7 per hour.
