Responsibilities Greet customers with a warm smile and provide outstanding service throughout their visit Prepare and serve a variety of smoothies, specialty drinks, and healthy snacks following company standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for retail sales transactions Handle cash register operations including processing cash, credit card payments, and giving correct change Maintain cleanliness of the café by regularly cleaning workstations, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards Ensure food handling procedures are followed carefully to uphold health regulations and food safety standards Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness Support team members during busy hours by efficiently managing beverage preparation and serving duties Qualifications Previous experience in food service, café work, or retail sales transactions is preferred but not required—training will be provided! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and giving accurate change Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods Barista experience or coffee preparation skills are highly desirable but not mandatory Join us at our exciting new Tropical Smoothie Cafe location where mornings are energetic, weekends are free for you, and every shift offers an opportunity to make someone's day brighter!
