Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks using standard recipes and equipment. Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items meet quality standards and food safety regulations. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions, cash handling, and order processing. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries or concerns professionally. Maintain cleanliness of the café workspace, including equipment sanitation, food prep areas, and dining spaces. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and order accuracy. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations. Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers. Experience Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Experience in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or cash handling is beneficial. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
