Job Description
Job Summary Baristas are responsible for preparing and serving beverages. This role requires knowledge of various coffee, tea, beer, and wine options while ensuring a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly. Manage inventory levels efficiently, ensuring that ingredients are fresh and available for service. Follow FIFO procedures to ensure product freshness and quality at all times. Operate cash registers or POS systems accurately for transactions. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with customers effectively. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward assisting colleagues. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Knowledge of FIFO principles to manage stock rotation properly. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Pay:
